Clinical Lead & Women’s Pelvic Health Specialist

Rowan is a Chartered Physiotherapist with over 20 years of clinical experience. She’s the Lead Physiotherapist at Physiofit, with specialist expertise in Women’s Pelvic Health and Postnatal care.

Rowan’s career includes extensive NHS experience at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, lecturing in advanced Physiotherapy skills and many years in private practice. Rowan has a masters degree in Orthopaedic Medicine and she’s highly regarded locally for her ability to understand and treat persistent, complex conditions.

Rowan is a member of the Professional Network of Pelvic, Obstetric & Gynaecological Physiotherapists (POGP) and a published researcher in injury prevention for female athletes. She helps women of all ages with pelvic floor weakness, incontinence, pelvic girdle pain, prolapse and abdominal separation. She also treats women during pregnancy and is a recognised MummyMOT practitioner for postnatal care.

You can expect hands-on treatment with clear education, practical advice and targeted rehab from Rowan. She brings a thoughtful, well-informed and up-to-date approach, alongside genuine care, to everyone she works with.

She is also a highly qualified and skilled Clinical Pilates Instructor teaching on both Mat and Reformer (APPI and Polestar), a fantastic way to build strength, balance and control.

As the founder of Physiofit, she mentors and leads a dedicated team of Physios who are all permanent members of staff.
