Erectile dysfunction, incontinence and pelvic floor problems are common
If you’ve ever suffered from erectile dysfunction or incontinence or possibly even both, you’re not alone. These are both symptoms of a pelvic floor problem and will affect as many as 1 in 4 men over the course of their lifetime.
Bladder, bowel and sexual problems are most common in men who’ve had prostate or colorectal surgery, however these symptoms are also linked to certain sports, in particular cycling and horse riding.
Although problems with the male pelvic floor are common, it’s surprising how little information there is online specifically for men, rather than women.
