Rowan has over 15 years’ experience as a Chartered Physiotherapist in both the NHS and the private sector. She specialises in occupational health physiotherapy with a particular interest in postural disorders and complex spinal conditions including chronic pain.
Rowan has a masters degree in orthopaedic medicine and regularly lectures at the London Royal Hospital for the Society of Musculoskeletal Medicine.
She is clinically trained in physiotherapist-led pilates and antenatal and postnatal pilates (APPI London).
Rowan worked for a number of years at Addenbrooke’s Hospital as senior physiotherapist in Outpatients, Rheumatology and the Sports Injuries Clinic before moving into private practice.
She set up and ran the in-house physiotherapy service at the Sanger Institute for seven years and has provided corporate on-site services at a number of other Cambridge-based companies including Cambridge Silicon Radio, Cambridge City Council, Redgate Ltd and EBI.
